"What if you only had one year to live and you knew it ?" (a quote from Deadline). Eighteen year Ben Wolf has a terrible secret: he finds out that he has a blood disease called leukemia. But he wants to keep in it on the down low. He doesn't tell his parents, brother or his best friend. Only him and his doctor know and the doctor swore to never tell. Ben only wants to live a normal life for his final senior year in high school. Soon he starts to feel scared and confused because he doesn't know what to tell his parents and he's afraid how his family will react when he dies. So he decides to go with his doctor to Denver, Colorado to a special hospital for leukemia he finds out that there is nothing they can do so he goes home and decides to keep his leukemia hid from his parent untill the time is right.
